Where to buy the new Apple Ipad in South Africa
Ever wished you could turn your TV, computer, phone and all of your favorite hi- tech things into one little magic device so you would be able to watch movies in the car, write emails in a restaurant and easily transport all of your photos, reading material and videos wherever you go? Apparently this has all now become possible and integrated into one little magic device: The new Apple iPad.
One of many exciting features on the iPad is the iBooks which allows you to download your favorite books from the iBookstore, and the high resolution LED-backlit screen allows you to read easily even when you are in low light. It was designed for comfort as it is thin and light, weighing in at only 1.5 pounds, and is very power efficient as it has up to ten hours of battery life. Best of all: the screen is large and allows you to see the display pages as it was meant to be, almost as if you are looking at a computer screen.
The iPad has a multi touch screen which allows you to do anything you want with a simple touch and you can get a fast connection for checking your mail, surfing through Facebook or getting directions without having to connect any wires as a built in device allows the iPad to function completely wireless. Although the screen is multi touch, it is not a Widescreen and this might lead to disappointed for all the movie loving fans out there. The iPad has from 16GB to 64GB of flash storage as well as other exciting features which include Bluetooth, microphones, speakers, compass, accelerometer and WiFi.
A great factor about the iPad is that there is no additional software to buy or install, and it is perfect for those with visual or hearing impairments and those with physical or learning disabilities.

Unfortunately the iPad seems to have a downside as well and many who have been awaiting its arrival are let down by the fact that the iPhone has no USB, and a big factor: no camera! The iPad also does not have Flash, which is a little disappointing since one would expect this form a device which is supposed to be so similar to a Notebook or Laptop.
Fortunately it does not seem like you will have to offer an arm or a leg to get hold of the Apple iPad as it is currently selling overseas for between $499 and $699, thus the iPad should cost anywhere from R4000 to R6000.
